Position the phone mount bracket: Place the bracket over the exposed mounting holes. The phone holder arm should face toward the driver or passenger, depending on your preference. Double-check the orientation before tightening. Once the bolts are snug, it's harder to rotate.
Bolt the bracket in place: Insert the supplied bolts through the bracket and into the console. Tighten them with a Torx bit or socket until the bracket is secure. Do not overtighten. Overtightening can strip the plastic threads in the console. Stop when the bracket no longer moves by hand.
Attach the phone holder: Slide the phone holder onto the bracket arm. Adjust the angle and tighten the pivot screw. Test the grip by inserting your phone. If the phone wobbles, tighten the pivot screw a bit more. The holder should have strong bite force to stay put on bumps.
