Quick answer
A dedicated center console storage box for the JL Wrangler and Gladiator JT adds organized, secure storage without modifying your vehicle. It drops into place and uses the existing console structure.
Why add a console storage box?
The factory center console in the JL and JT is a deep, open bin. Small items like pens, coins, or charging cables tend to slide to the bottom and get lost. A storage box creates a flat, divided tray that keeps everyday items accessible and prevents clutter.
Material and build quality
Most aftermarket console boxes are made from ABS plastic. The box for the JL and Gladiator JT uses high-quality ABS with a black texture finish that matches the factory console surface. This helps the insert blend in visually while providing a sturdy, durable tray.
Frequently asked questions
- Will this fit my 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT?
- Yes. The storage box is designed for both the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL and the Gladiator JT. The console shape is shared between these models, so the same insert works in both. Check your model year range before ordering; 2018-2023 JL and all JT years covered.
- How do I install the console storage box?
- Installation is tool-free. Simply place the storage box into the center console bin and press down until it seats firmly. The box uses the console's existing shape to stay in place—no adhesive or hardware required.
- Will it interfere with the console lid or armrest?
- No. The storage box sits below the lid and does not raise the height of the console. The lid closes fully and the armrest functions normally. Confirm your console lid still closes flush after installation.
- What can I store in the tray?
- The tray is divided into compartments. Use the larger section for sunglasses, a phone, or a wallet. The smaller slots hold pens, coins, or USB cables. Items that are too tall for the tray can still be stored in the deeper bin below. The box organizes small items but does not block access to the bottom of the console.
