Find the right interior door handle bowl trim for your Jeep Wrangler JL, Gladiator JT, Compass, or Cherokee. Learn fitment rules and key trade-offs before you buy.
Quick answer
Interior door handle bowl trim is model-specific: the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator share a two-door version, while the Compass and Cherokee each require separate kits. Check your model year and door count before ordering.
Why door count and model year matter more than design
The handle bowl trim itself follows the same contours as the factory door panel, so a part made for a four-door JL Wrangler won’t fit a two-door Wrangler. The same applies to the Gladiator JT — its interior is basically the same as the four-door JL, but the two-door JT does not exist. If you have a two-door Wrangler JL, you must buy the two-door-specific set.
Model-year cuts also matter. Jeep refreshed the Compass interior for 2017 and again later, so the 2010-2016 kit uses a different panel shape than newer models. The Cherokee’s interior kept the same door panel design from 2014 through 2018, but later model years may have subtle changes.
Adhesive vs. clip-on: the real trade-off
All these trims use high-bond double-sided tape for installation — no drilling or panel removal. That makes them easy to fit, but the bond is final. If you remove the trim later, the tape may leave residue or weaken. For a permanent upgrade, adhesive trim works well; for a temporary cosmetic change, consider a clip-on alternative instead.
Decision rules: three questions to narrow your choice
- What model and year do you drive?: 2018+ Wrangler JL and 2020+ Gladiator JT share the two-door handle bowls. 2010-2016 Compass uses a separate shape. 2014-2018 Cherokee has its own design. Other models (e.g., Grand Cherokee, Renegade) are not covered by the kits above.
- How many doors does your Jeep have?: Two-door JL/JT requires the specific two-door kit. Four-door JL/JT owners need the separate four-door product (the same part number as the store's four-door listing). The Compass and Cherokee kits come in sets of four pieces covering all doors. Count your doors before adding to cart — a four-door kit will leave you short if you have two doors.
- Do you prefer gloss or matte?: All listed trims use a high-gloss, UV-resistant polyurethane coating. If you prefer a matte or textured look, these kits won’t match — look for a different product line. The gloss matches most factory interior accents well.

Who should buy — and who should look elsewhere
Best for
- Owners of Jeep Wrangler JL (2018+) or Gladiator JT (2020+) who want a simple, protective upgrade for the two front door handle bowls.

Not for
- Four-door JL/JT owners (you need the four-door-specific kit available in the same store).
- Owners of Compass 2017+ or Cherokee 2019+ (different door panel shapes not supported by these part numbers).
- Anyone who wants a clip-on or screw-on trim (these use adhesive tape only).
